He should have lived...
Teddy should have lived to see Healthcare reform enacted, and enacted in a useful and progressive way.

I am still confident we'll get something pretty good done. But all the game playing, Max Baucus mindfuckery deprived Teddy of his moment.

So thank you Teddy. Sleep well. And fuck you Max Baucus.

in his honor.

6. Get ready for all the pontificating and hand wringing and crocodile tears.
You know all those repukes and Blue Dogs will be falling all over themselves to get to a mic to talk about what a wonderful person he was and how much they'll miss him. Hypocrites, every last one of them. :nuke:

11. This has nothing to do with Healthcare
This is about a great man and a great legacy..he did much more than just Healthcar legislation, I hope this does not get lost in the whirlwind that is about to take place.

We should not use his death for our political gains.

Ted Kennedy fought for every man and woman's right to access a good life. He worked his entire life to see that everyone had a chance to move up in life. He has mentored thousands of men and women to carry on the torch of freedom to all people.

Reread. I never did or said what you think.

Ayway, I'm seriously pissed off right now about how this man's legacy was damaged.

But go ahead and impugn my integrity all you want. I will wait till tomorrow to reply to you further. I owe the man that, at least.
