FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Senator Kennedy has authored more than 2,500 bills throughout his career in the United States Senate. Of those bills, several hundred have become Public Law. 10. Let's honor this man with the passage of a real reform in the
way medical treatment is delivered in this country. Let's not continue to allow the haves to be the only recipients of precious life sustaining treatment. Sen. Kennedy said he wondered how families deal with the catastrophic costs associated with chronic conditions and diseases? He most likely knew without passage of H.R. 676, medical help to families and individuals receiving medical treatment will continue to be rationed and be accessible to those who have the ability to pay. Let's make the dream come alive for all citizens of the United States. Let's provide, what has too long been reserved for the elite, medical treatment regardless of ability to pay.

Thank you Sen. Kennedy for your service to this Country-you are already missed.

My regret is that I haven't appreciated what he has accomplished for all of us half as well as I should have.

He was a true American statesman.
