ha... ha... Wolf Blitzer -- John McCain might be the new Ted Kennedy

I was talking earlier with some friends and I asked, who might emerge as the new Ted Kennedy in the United States Senate? You know who a lot of people think it might be? … That would be Senator McCain.

To whom it may concern.

I've followed the bumblings of Wolf Blitzer for many years now and I just can't figure out what he has to offer CNN, or any other news outlet for that matter. Walter Mitty would give a better journalist.

Tonight, however, Mr. Blitzer took the proverbial cake with his suggestion that "some friends" (another form of the journalistically weak "some say") suggested John McCain would emerge as the next Ted Kennedy. This is one of the most outrageously idiotic statements I've ever had the misfortune of hearing from a so-called main stream news outlet, and you, like Mr. Blitzer, should be ashamed of yourselves for promoting such absolute drivel. Actually, drivel is still too positive a description for the blather Mr. Blitzer produces. John McCain's Senate record doesn't even come close to what Ted Kennedy achieved during his tenure and to suggest that he will be the "new" anything is a joke.

I know this mail will have no effect and, most likely, it will not even be read. I'd like to hope, however, that someone actually does read it. After all, you've got your bottom line to consider, and real news is not as interesting as the intellectual flatulence you produce. While Mr. Blitzer pontificates on the future actions of Senator McCain, the Sibel Edmonds story continues to spiral down the drain. I don't get it, but I assure you, I will continue not to watch your channel. There are better things to do with my life...like sleeping.
