the GOP...made CONSERVATISM an EVIL WORD....

In many peoples minds, the term ..means CRAP...worse than SHIT

In a nutshell...Conservative now means LOSER and a Abuser

3. Short term profit is what the power behind the Republican party sees
The wealth corporations that fund (buy off) the Republican politicians made a tidy sum from Bush's war for profit. The defense industry is still riding the gravy train even with the Democratic Party in office. We will be paying for these wars for decades.

4. I wish you were right, but the truth is that liberalism is still a dirty word because even many Dems
don't want to be seen as "liberals". We still have a long way to go before conservatism becomes a dirty word. There are still more people who will refuse to be called liberal, instead are more likely to embrace other labels, like moderate, Independent, and even conservative.
