Thom Hartmann is covering Obama's continuing the rendition

policy of Bush Jr.
Obama is disappointing me, no end.

...while rendition is and has been legal for generations.

Rendition itself is taking someone from another country that you feel is a criminal and making them go through a persecution or imprisonment (if they're a soldier on the other side) process.

What Bush did was make them go through torture and never ending imprisonment...

As long as they aren't being tortured, what's the alternative? Almost nobody in Congress wants the detainees on OUR soil, in OUR prisons, so how else will Obama be able to close Gitmo?

Obama is really Kucinich with an Obama mask on, but Kucinich is really who was elected.

In that world, candidates like Kucinich have a chance of winning a presidential election, because in this world everyone thinks exactly like those on the extreme left.

In that world, the President can do anything he wants,
as long as he is a Democrat pushing the liberal causes of the Left only.

In that world, there is no media pushback by 24/7 cable and corporate news entities
influencing a large segment of the populous to be against anything and everything
this President does.

In that world, everything is Black or White, and everything is separated by right vs. wrong,
and Right vs. Left.

In that world the President ought to be perfect in everyway the far Left decides is appropriate.

In that world, considering what Obama has done over the last 8 months, Obama is a great disappointment, especially for those who like to speculate, that if they were Obama,
they'd do things completely different and to much greater success.....all of which is their talk that continues to go untested, and unproven.
