Let's drop the discussions of what Obama is going to call for next week...

Every day I see threads pointing to sources saying that he's going to drop the Public Option, and threads pointing to sources that say he's not. None of us (and none of the sources), will know until he speaks. We can better use our time to discuss and lobby for what he should say.

I hope he will at least meet with them. Heck, he met with the Insurance companies and the drug companies.

According to Rassmusan at least 100 million Americans want single payer. Obama could at least listen and ask some questions.

The President's popularity has been dropping. Media or otherwise, he HAS to stop capitulating and make a decision.

And while it's not fact, people can infer based on existing situations - and the more that happens means the more people will lose their faith, hope, and the other buzzwords.

20. Actually it went up 5 points in the last 4 days on Gallup
And never really dropped during the entire month of August...but really, lets let the MSM decide that meme for us, right?

I do think Obama needs to make a decision...if he does not support the public option he has to be prepared to lose all of his base.
