Got this viral email from a republican friend

And wanted to know if anyone here knew the source of this email supposedly written by a "Pastor's wife" - with the subject line"

The Parable of the Pied Piper of America

I found it online in several places, but it just reeks of RNC astroturf PR. Too many hot button words, etc.

Minus the part where is says that it's written by a Pastor's wife.

I'd love to be able to just debunk the thing in one piece, rather than go through each lie blow by blow.

They only listen to pundits and call it "journalism".

I seriously saw on a British site recently some flag waving "patriot" (somehow we have to stop them from calling anything far-right "patriotic"...) say that the stupid Euroliberals/socialists don't understand just why Glenn Beck is a great "journalist".

If he's a journalist, I'm a fucking ghostbuster.

I feel stupider for just reading it.

And it came to pass... John McCain and his gimmick running mate lost the election in 2008, and lo in their defeat, the agents of the status quo were unable to move on and get over it. So they wrote stupid emails fortelling made up doom and gloom. They forwarded them to everyone in their address books and like a plague of locusts, stupidity rained down through the internets. And they thought it was good. But it was just stupid.
