"bush understood the limits of presidential power"-- I heard that yesterday morning
and was just glad I wasn't drinking anything. not sure who said it, or what station--was merely something I overheard.

how braindead does someone have to be, or how gullible does that person think WE are, to believe this kind of errant nonsense?

2. True. He understood that there were no limits on his power.
Congress and the Supreme Court proved he was right.

3. Bush was right. Presidential power is limited if you allow the people
to know what you're doing.

after he got caught doing them.

7. He understood the limits and that's why he tried to expand those limits.
Why should he be limited by laws he just signed. Why not ADD a signing statement. Then he, as a result, could become the legislative branch also.

It goes on and on. I'm pretty sure his real father was Satan.

10. He couldn't be bothered w/ that detail.
He got to wear cool socks, boots, jackets & boxers w/ the pretzeldential seal on them and nobody else did! (I may have made up the part about the boxers).

11. Bush didn't know the limits of lunch
Let alone presidential power. He governed as if he didn't have a clue of "limits".

He was a wartime preznit.

13. Bush did understand the limits of presidential power ...
but he understood better the fact that nobody was going to report his blasting past the limits in his rocket-powered race car ...
