Newt Gingrich just endorsed Obama's school speech.
I just turned on the boob tube to hear where-in-the-world is Matt Lauer ask him about the speech. Newt said he had just read it, that it was a good speech and that "evey child in the US should hear it"

Is that the every child in the US should hear the "scrubbed" school speech; however, Obama will have hell to pay if he uses the "original" school speech instead. You know, the one that contains countless references to "Afro-Leninism."

He said that Newt is one of the most intelligent people in politics.

(Dad was a staunch Democrat who grew up poor and fought in World War II.)
