President Bush at Cowboys Stadium
The Super Bowl XLV effort has been a celebrity draw, attracting everyone from football legends (Roger Staubach) to business legends (T. Boone Pickens). Now, the host committee has landed its biggest names yet: former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush.
They will be co-chairs of an educational, community service and art project that's being described as the largest of its kind in the country aimed at elementary school children.

About 800 children from the Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington school districts will attend the announcement, which occurs during the school day.
News of the Bushes' participation comes at a time when the topic of presidential speeches to school children is generating huge headlines nationwide. President Barack Obama gave a televised speech directed at children today, which had generated a huge controversy for the past week. The president's critics accused him of politicizing the classroom before the speech.
Each of the three districts participating in the Super Bowl press conference approached the Obama speech differently. Dallas left it up to each campus principal to decide. Arlington allowed students to taken an excused half-day to watch it off campus. Fort Worth showed the address at all its high schools, but students who didn't want to watch were not required to do so.
