had his radio show. Al seemed to take getting beat by Barack Obama pretty well.

I read Dreams from my Father and also listened to it. I could freak people out during the campaign by telling them that yes, I have heard Barack Obama say "MotherFu@#er" - and I have. :)

2. The MSNBC commentator said Klobuchar was wavering on PO. Excellent to have her present, yes?
Is this Obama's strategy (or one of them) for pulling in needed Senate votes? -- get them in front of a crowd of their own voters yelling "Fired up! Ready to go!"

Hmmmm.

4. I don't think she's wavering
I've talked to her office: I think she's just being coy.

12. I believe that Klobuchar and many of those who appear to wavering
on the PO actually support the PO but are much more worried about financing the subsidies, and when that is worked out will support a bill with a PO.

14.  "Fired up, ready to go!"
Obama says status quo no solution on health care

MINNEAPOLIS – President Barack Obama assailed critics of his health care initiative Saturday, seeking to grab the megaphone from his opponents and boost momentum in his drive for congressional passage of his chief domestic priority.

"I will not accept the status quo. Not this time. Not now," the president told an estimated 15,000 people during a rally that had every feel of a campaign event, right down to chants of "Fired up, ready to go!" and "Yes, we can!"

<...>

"If you come to me with a serious set of proposals, I will be there to listen. My door is always open," the president said.

But he warned that he wouldn't waste time with people who have decided "that it's better politics to kill this plan than improve it." He also said he wouldn't stand by while special interests "use the same old tactics to keep things exactly the way they are." And he warned, "If you misrepresent what's in the plan, we will call you out."

<...>

19. Of course, I'm surprised that I didn't recognize her!
I do love seeing Frannie tho. I feel like I know her, from what Al says so nicely and lovingly about her.

Guess I'm just a big fan of Al and his people...
