That's my calculation. Hope I'm right!

There is a reason even the "Trigger PO" is not in the Baucus "w/o" PO Senate bill that just came out.

1. According to my fuzzy
math, that equals five bills with PO, 3+1+1....

2. Doctors and the general public strongly support the PO too.
The only people on Earth who don't support it are the Insurance Industry and Insurance Industry whores in Congress.

It's really a no-brainer.

3. 1 Senate Bill w/o the PO and w/o a single Republican vote = ROFLMAO

Baucus tedious insipid misplaced trust that his negotiation would produce something will now turn him into a laughing stock.

Giving up the heart of the bill and unable to announce a single Republican.

Now if he had come in with 10 Republicans on board then he would have some cards to deal with.

Max Baucus goes to conference committee with nothing but egg on his face.

7. While making the moderate Republicans look like Radicals....
considering the bill was basically most of what Republicans wanted.

9. Yes - assuming that Snowe doesn't have a "change of heart" to neuter the final bill
That would be the smartest politics for the Republicans. Fortunately, they haven't shown such intelligence.

10. Yep, the Baucus bill aka the Insurance Companies Bill is dead....
