Russia says it won't deploy missiles near Poland
Now let me see here.. The Obama administration has succeeded in getting Russia to stop deployment of missiles, protecting Poland, and even getting Russia to get on board with criticizing Iran for denying the Holocaust.

Say what mass media on who is keeping us safer??? Lets see how quickly the neocons try and deny this!

Russia says it won't deploy missiles near Poland
AP

MOSCOW – Russia said Saturday it will scrap a plan to deploy missiles near Poland since Washington has dumped a planned missile shield in Eastern Europe. It also harshly criticized Iran's president for new comments denying the Holocaust.

Neither move, however, represented ceding any significant ground. A plan to place Iskander missiles close to the Polish border was merely a threat. And while the Kremlin has previously criticized Tehran for questioning the reality of the Holocaust, Russian leaders have refused to back Western push for tougher sanctions against Iran.

1. I seem to be one of the few who see this as a good thing.
The Iskander missiles may have not been set up, but then, neither were the US anti-missile bases. Had we proceeded, I believe there is a good chance the Russians would have made good on their threat.

2. I do too... We have fulfilled our promise to our allies..and
defused tensions with Russia.. giving us a payback of not another cold war build-up and even Russia is pushing back at Iran.. A very good thing, since Russia is their mainstay, and they will more likely listen to Russia our of fear of being alone in the middle east.

3. I think it is a good thing too.
President Obama is giving many countries an opportunity to take a breath.

* was a threat to every country in the world, think about it. What would have stopped him from declaring war on Russia...absolutely nothing, Russia did not trust * or Cheney.

I mean, we cant just only be scared of the Arabs, we have to have someone in Europe to be scared of.
