How in the world could it be a statistical tie when it comes to which party people want to control
Congress in 2010? On MSNBC I just saw that the latest NBC/WSJ Poll has Dems. at 43% and Repubs. at 40% when people were asked who they'd like see control Congress in 2010! How is that POSSIBLE when in the same poll, 36% of people thought the Repubs. would be to blame if the HCR bill failed compared to 10% of Dems.?

1. Too many Dems give Repubs the benefit of the Doubt
They're just as friggin timid and easily scared as some of the weak-kneed elected officials.

7. Have to be suspicious about the NBC/WSJ poll, though. For example,
what's the deal with this split result:

Here's the public option question (clear as mud, because in this split sample response, while it's important to the public to have a choice on a public option, the respondents are divided as to whether to create one. But did people mean for themselves, or for those without insurance?):

9. Yeah-they talked about THOSE strange results, too...
I don't get it. But I HAVE heard in just about every poll where this was asked that Repubs. have almost caught up to Dems. in ID and preference. How could that be with the extreme RW takeover of the Repub. party?

4. I heard it too
Until I find the poll and see the question and the breakdown by party affiliation I won't believe it. Not saying it isn't true, but if Faux reports I automatically think the opposite is true. If the LMSM says it I verify, Tweety and the boys are selling conflict to get ratings.

5. Because the second question is slanted in the Dems favor.
Most on the right wouldn't "Blame" anyone if there was no health care bill, they'd be HAPPY. So those most likely to answer anything other than "no one" on that question are Dems.

It's a trick question .... that's how polls work.

10. Then that's even worse...
it pretty much means the first question's results are legit.
