Judge rejects GOP bid to block Senate appointment

A Suffolk Superior Court judge this afternoon rejected a request by the state Republican Party to block the appointment of Democrat Paul G. Kirk Jr. as interim US senator.

Though the Judge thought otherwise - I guess because MA not being equally represented with other states and not having two Senate offices to help constituents really does fit "emergency" - especially when it is easily fixed.

no "emergency". Now Mass is up with all the other states..even Minneasota!
