What makes this one unique?

Or is there anything unique when it comes to these decisions of war and peace?

ROBERT GATES, SECRETARY OF DEFENSE: He is very analytical. He is very deliberate about the way he goes through things. He wants to understand everything. He delves very deeply into these issues. I'm not going to get into comparing the different presidents. I very much enjoy working for this one.

There also were concerns about Gates's role in misleading Congress regarding the secret Iran-Contra operations in the mid-1980s, an obstacle that had prevented Gates from getting the top CIA job when Casey died in 1987.

He's is certainly knowledgeable on the ins and outs of what they all can get away with.

He should have to wear one of those sashes like Miss America wears that says "Mr. Military-Industrial Complex".

President Bush nominated former CIA director Robert Gates on Wednesday to replace Donald Rumsfeld as Secretary of Defense. We take a look at Gates’ role at the CIA in connection to the Iran-Contra scandal and the secret arming of Saddam Hussein with former CIA analyst Mel Goodman, who testified before the Senate in 1991 against the nomination of Gates as CIA director, and investigative journalist Bob Parry who helped expose Iran-Contra.
