13. Funny thing is that Rangel got the seat from a guy that stayed too long
and got too inside Washington. Now Rangel is just like the guy he replaced.

House Debates Resolution Asking Ways & Means Chair to Step Down
Today

The House is taking up a privileged resolution, introduced by Rep. John Carter (R-TX), asking Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) to step down as chairman of the Ways & Means Cmte. GOP House members believe the Chairman, whose tax issues are being investigated by the House Ethics Cmte., cannot effectively lead the committee.
