1. That's an interesting idea
and I see where you're coming from, but couldn't it be seen as a snub?

A better idea would be to graciously accept it and then give the monetary prize to some worthy cause.

7. ASU...
Maybe ASU should now revisit its decision not to give him an honorary degree.

6. This is why our snooze media sucks the big one.
Many in the international community understand and get what Pres. Obama has done to steady international interests and work on reducing nuclear weapons to hopefully in my future 0 nuclear weapons/ arsenal. Our media reports on idiot shit like Grandma and death panels like our Govt would ever do that with medicare.. even though they allow it with the grandchildren needing ins. to cover their illnesses that the ins. co's deny... and they spent a good week on the cop in Boston and then another week on an address to school children.. and then another week on stupidity over the Olympics... and now they are endless on the war in Afghanistan. We on the Dem side, I believe, are in awe that the rest of the world does hold our Pres. in such high esteem. I think this is a better testament towards the international attitudes towards our President and our country.. not so much the Olympic commity and the stacked votes for s. america
