REMINDER: Bush fucked up America AND world peace, Obama is puttin both back together slowly & surely
Jus sayin, some have already forgetting how bad the last 8 years was to the world and to America as a whole...

I mean for Gods sake, McKKKlan had his hand in a war in Georgia!!!!

1. And putting things back together
even at this point is a huge accomplishment. I can't get over how many gopers were wetting themselves over W's cowboy diplomacy. Screw over the rest of the world and then wonder why they hate us?

I am really confused by this, but the Peace Prize is always a political statement so it is nice that the international community is giving our country a pat on the back for at least turning the ship in the right direction. But as far as concrete results with regard to peace, I wouldn't even expect results at this early stage. I don't know how to react to this.

3. They are being consistent. MLK, Tutu, Mandela all got the award BEFORE their major initiatives were
...pulled off or completed.

4. I would say that giving it to MLK in 1964 was hardly premature, and Mandela won in 1993
when Apartheid was a thing of the past.
