Moments like this show you who the bitter people truly are.
It takes a strong man to swallow his pride and congratulate someone on something well done.

This is why I've always admired many in sports. If you've invested so much into besting your opponent and you lose - specifically in a championship game - you nut up and shake that opponent's hand. It might be the hardest thing you've ever done, but you still do it.

Hell, often you watch them celebrate their victory.

The GOP will never give Pres. Obama his victory. They were pretty much pissing on him hours after his election win. Then they pissed on him hours after his inauguration and now they're pissing on him in the hours after winning something all Americans should be proud their president won.

You can critique it. You can question it. But the petty attacks coming from so many on the right surely proves just how truly pathetic, bitter and ugly they really are.

4. Their piss-ant behavior betrays them - as piss-ants.
For myself, I don't understand why we aren't hearing a LOT more calls of "Sore Loserman"!

5. Agreed.
But there are plenty of disillusioned on the left who are displeased as well and I think it speaks to how out of the mainstream they (and by they, I mean we, including myself) are. Being out of the mainstream is not a bad thing by any means because we provide a solid counter to the far right, but sometimes it's a good idea to just savor the successes and THIS is a success the left can be proud of. IMHO of course.

7. Excellent points but I don't think they invest enough in besting
their opponent - unless we include thuggery, lies and tricks. To me that's why the right cannot man-up or woman-up and simply congratulate - it's much to decent an act.
K&R!

10. The GOP don't deserve to be elected/represent this country
They have no respect for others and neither for themselves.
