To everyone who is freaking over the polls...
This far before the primaries we were taking for granted that Howard Dean was going to kick ass and that John Kerry was toast. Now we're assuming that George Bush is going to kick ass and that John Kerry is toast. So just keep in mind that nobody knows anything and that polls aren't worth anything.

1. The Polls Aren't Even That Bad
Edited on Sat Sep-18-04 05:20 PM by DarthDem
You're right in everything you're saying, but the national polls, either natively or adjusted fairly, show a tie, and the Rasmussen battleground numbers today are fairly good news - - see thread in GD2004. There was even a poll today showing a tie in North Carolina.

2. The pollsters themselves can't even decide whose right!
Everyone's methods are different and there have problems from the "cell phone" factor to over sampling republicans by 8 or 9 percent. Its best to ignore the polls and keep a positive outlook. Kerry have some great people working with him and they know how to win this thing.

5. I agree! Everything will change in
a month and a half! And won't it be Fine!?!

Kerry/Edwards are going to win this thing so we can look back on how smug, arrogant, and ignorant they are now and celebrate a thousand fold in November! :bounce: :D
