Rush is really STUPID. He thinks WE'RE stupid-and he THANKS us-for increasing his audience.
When asked in an NBC interview if he thinks he's the head of the Repub. party, his answer is no, and he doesn't WANT to be. And he adds that all the Dems. are doing by TRYING to make him the head of the Repub. party is increasing the size of his listening audience, and he thanks us for it.

What he doesn't get is we WANT more and more people to listen to him-the most vocal Repub. out there (or one of them, anyway), because the more people hear his ignorant, un-American ranting (by saying he agrees with the terrorists on Obama getting the NPP, and saying he's thrilled America didn't get the Olympics, etc.), the more they'll get turned off by the Repub. party.

But HE thinks it's all about HIM. I hope he keeps it up, and more and more people start listening to him. I don't care HOW rich it makes him-it's terrible for his PARTY.

1. When it comes to his attempted NFL purchase, I hope one of two things happens
Either it falls apart due to public and player outcry and/or the commissioner not approving the transaction and he winds up hugely embarrassed, or he buys the franchise and can't field a competitive team because so many players refuse to work for him.

Either way, it shows the uninformed what a colossal @$$hole he is.

2. I'd be happy with either of those scenarios, too...
how DARE he try this after the racist things he said about certain Black football players as well as Black people in general!

4. It will be so messed up if he's allowed to buy a football team.
He can change their name to The Klansmen and trade away anyone who isn't white.

6. I would hope the Black players would ALL quit the team so the racist Rush doesn't have the power
to "own" Black people.

8. Several black players have already said they don't want to play for Rush.
I guess nobody wants to rush for Rush!

(sorry, I just wanted to beat the sportswriters to the PUNch.)

7. Politics are far from center conversation
at the sports bar where I currently work so I was a little surprised to see a sports news piece done about prominent people within the NFL who want nothing to do with Rush.

They don't seem to be fans, to put it lightly.
