I don't know if Delaware has changed a lot since electing Joe (and going Democratic in national elections). Can anyone give any insight? But it's hard for me to imagine Beau Biden losing, unless he's got some big skeletons or implodes. I know Castle has been a big GOP winner in Delaware, but he's 70, right? This is a young guy, well spoken, just got back from serving in Iraq, he's served the state as AG ... I don't know. I know there's some anti-dynasty talk, but Delaware seems pretty blue when it comes to the big ones. I don't know too much about Beau Biden yet, but he sure seems like an ideal candidate for the state, in spite of George Will talking about how Castle never loses.

2. When his father first ran for the senate,
he ran against a republican who "never loses" as well. Beau looks like the perfect candidate and Delaware loves the Bidens.

8. You dont understand how good we have it here ..Kids of politicians in other democracies have a
sense of entitlement that would make Dubya cringe with embarrassment..

They have name recognition - but they still have work their way upward ... not like Pakistan where a 21 year old is name leader of a National Political party after his mother is gunned down.

Remember this Is a Democratic State.In 2008 With Joe Biden on the ticket Obama beat Mccain 62 to 37.
No matter how Moderate Mike Castle tries to claim to be 1:Like all Republicans In the House he voted
against the Stimulas and 2:He will almost certainly vote against whatever Helath Care reform bill comes
up.Just Imagne Joe Biden coming home to point these facts out to people.And no matter what relationship
he and Castle may have had In the past Joe Biden proved with mccain he can go after Republicans he has
had good relationships with especilly If his son Is the one running against Castle.And Beau Biden Is
the state AG so It Is not like they just handed him the nodd for his father's seat.
