Pssst, Mr. Prez, the Stupid People Won't Notice...........
WRONG! My flesh crawled when I saw Max so happy yesterday (like someone just put a few million in his bank account); and when Harry invited only one so-called "progressive" to put together the final bill (Dodd)and kept the rest out; and when I saw Rahm-boy rolling up his sleeves. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out what the final product will look like! But here is the reason I would like to kick Rahm's ass out the front door of the White House:

This snake thinks this healthcare legislation is just like all others and advising Obama accordingly. You know, people getting all upset and fighting and then everything just fades away months later after passage. Not with this one because this one is going to cost those with insurance big hikes by uncontrolled corporate vampires and the rest are going to have a gun to their head to buy the same opportunity to be raped. In other words, when it hits people in the pocket like it is going to, the people NOTICE. It became very clear yesterday that insurance companies will come out of this knowing that they rule and no one can stop them. The public is going to turn like a wild animal on the Dems once the insurance companies send them the bill. The fools think no one will notice.

1. A look at history bears Harry's logic out...
since progressives will have no other place to go. Think about it.

3. We have had, and have gone there, in the past.
It has meant Democratic losses; but they were losses earned by Democrats. Sometimes shock therapy is needed.

5. If anything resembling Baucus' bill comes out of Congress...
shock therapy is EXACTLY what the Democrats will get- and it will be well deserved.

2. Right on:! The only prayer they have is the PO and making it
available to everyone who wants to buy. Making the the Premiums
in PO priced in such a way as to make up for the increased
Premiums.

I have never understood where there brains are with this Baucus
Bill.

They are making a serious mistake. I know they think they
must pass something and anything is better than no Bill.

THIS IS NO ORDINARY LEGISLATION --this will affect every man
woman and child and many will be affected negatively.

4. there is a monied set that owns/runs this country
with that in mind the politicians are just props. So yes obviously when people see just how repulsive the current politicians are a different group will be voted in. Going on the premise that these politicians are basically the same and they serve the same masters it follows that they won't particularly care if one set is voted out. It's a huge corrupt machine.

6. Instead of embracing Kennedy's vision, it looks like the WH is most happy with Baucus' bill...
It's hard to imagine where they are coming from.

This is a big test for Dems and this WH ~ I do expect well-placed outrage if they sell out.
