President Obama to campaign for VA gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds
next Tuesday.

So much for the talk that Deeds didn't want the President's help.

And, can't remember the day, but the Big Dawg will be doing some appearances in NoVa, too.

Hopefully, it will help Democratic turnout -- it defintely won't hurt!

1. I Wish He'd Travel a Little Farther South
Northern Virginia tends to vote Democratic more than central Virginia. We sure could use some help down here.

2. Don't know where the President is headed actually...
he could be doing several events throughout the state.

Just heard that the Big Dawg is hitting up NoVA.

Let's hope the Dems come out in force to give Deeds a win!

3. NOVA and Richmond, I assume
This election will be all about turnout. Northern Virginia is fairly liberal and Richmond is the biggest concentration of AA voters.

I guess he could campaign usefully in the Newport News area also.

4. Yeah, who was pushing that?
That Deeds didn't want PO to campaign with him?

5. If you know people in VA, please, please get them to turn out for Deeds, Wagner, and Shannon on
Election Day. McDonnell and Cucinelli are both wacky versions of the American Taliban and would be disastrous for VA. A few years back, Ken Cucinelli was trying to remove Cinderella and Harry Potter from public and school libraries because they "teach witchcraft." Both McDonnell and Cucinelli hate the public school system and plan on stripping funds away from education.

6. VA
This Is all about trying to get the Obama voters In Northern VA to come out.The polls especilly
Survey USA suggest they are mostly polling Mccain voters.Hence them saying majority voted for Mccain
yet Obama won the state.Even If Obama and Clinton only help Deeds narrorly lose Instead of losing
big that would be a big deal.Of course most of the media will Ignore the story. And If Obama can help
convince voters what a disaster Mcdonnell would be that would be good.Too mad Mcdonnell didn't have
Palin campagin for him. That would help excite Obama voters.
