Vice President Biden spoke for half an hour at an Ohio fundraiser for freshman Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy Monday. According to the pool, Biden claimed the Recovery Act had cut $2.2 billion in taxes for 4.5 million Ohio families, provided unemployment benefits for 600,000 people, created 7,000 jobs in the state's education sector and averted cuts in Medicaid and at 47 police departments.

"We're no longer talking about whether there will be a recovery. We're talking about how quickly it will occur. Because it's working," Biden said.

Defending the administration from criticism that it's try to do too much, too fast, Biden explained: "Ladies and gentlemen, the reason we try to do so much is that so much was left on our plate."

there was a heck of a lot left on the plate for this administration to try to fix. AND THE REPUBLICANS KNOW IT. That's why they are heming and hawing on passing any bill. They DON'T want stuff fixed, that way they can say Obama and his administration did nothing. That's why we should get on with it and leave the republicans stuck in the stuff they created. And it's not mud.
