3. Also, I found it strange that he was sooo happy about Harry Reid putting in the opt-out public optio
but then went NUTS over the House bill, accusing OBAMA of being a sell-out (or something similar) until proven otherwise. I almost felt sorry for Ed having all these guests on who disagreed with him, saying the House bill was a good thing-people like Alan Grayson, Anthony Weiner, Howard Dean, and others.

4. The strategy was to have a very strong Public Option in the House bill.
It was always assumed the Senate would have a weaker version due to the problem with filibusters. The House bill needed to be strong heading into the conference committee to provide leverage to move the Senate version to the left so to speak.

5. Ed keeps saying that Obama needs to go into some ..
back room or get in front of the camera and tell the Dems we want a single payer or public option as though if he stumps his feet and demands it the Bluedogs will just follow..

These bluedogs have known for months what WE want and did they listen. Just because the President says do it more forcefully that is not going to change any minds because a lot them are really Repubs..

Everyone knows what is going on so why does Ed think that will work? Why is he working so hard on the President but not on Pryor,Bayh,Landrieu, the two nelsons. Everytime some of these Dems jump up and tell us the bill will have a robust public optiom then another Dem jumps out of their bag with some more bullshit the make it more complicated even after they have been in meeting after meeting a lot of these Dems are working along with Dick Armey and the teabaggers..
