That's why we keep getting crappy bills. All our leadership is totally bought off.

And it's up to us to police this stuff.

That is if we ever really want a decent bill that addresses the problems.

1. We'll never get any reforms
with such a negative attitude.

I am safe on Medicare, but my children and grandchildren need health reform, especially regarding pre-existing conditions!

3. Yes, they need our reps to be bribed by the insurance industry because that will help them. Good
thinking.

Teach your children, "Representatives who are bribed by big business are your friends. They want to do what's right for you!"

Smart. Very smart.

reform with a giant insurance industry bailout are putting off the day when out Reps refuse donations from the health care industrial complex, and of course they are insuring that real reform will be that much father in the future.

It's faulty thinking to assume that people taking bribes from the health care industrial complex will be able to reform those industries in any meaningful way.

We can't real reform in this country because we are too stupid to know what real reform is.

We think the crumbs offered us by our bribed lawmakers are reform, instead of just a better way to pick our pockets

5. K&R! We need more high profile voices
out there like Jessie Ventura's this past weekend to illuminate this fact. The shame is, people (if they can be classified as people?) on the right see the corporate corruption, as well, but the PTB have the left and right so divided, we'll never work together to put a stop to it. This is THE most important issue - the mother-of-all issues - that, if resolved, could finally restore our govt to a 'govt of the people'.
