Bush bounce gone, Kerry kicking A, and what are we talkin' bout?
The people who get freaked by bad polls are so ho hum about good ones.
So worked up about Kerry not fighting, and now he is ramping up the rhetoric, and crickets chirp.
But i can't hear the crickets because of the next panic story.

Oh well. That Kerry speech in Detroit, laying out specifics of his economic plan was great! And Gov. Granholm's set up intro, telling listeners to set political labels aside and just listen as if this were a job interview for a new CEO after the last CEO totally screws up the company, was brilliant!

Olbermann carried the new polls, the "Gold Star mom" story and c-span had a Kitty kelley speech, all of which is better than the usual mediahose job.
Franken is Kicking A on Sundance every night, and things are turning!
Stay hopeful.
Spread the word.
Make sure people are registered-that is our first deadline!
Work it!

1. I heard that speech. Granholm's alegory was brilliant.
I'm dedicated to the Kerry campaign...no more whining about polls

The race is on, the finish line is in sight, it's time to GET OUR GROOVE ON!!

TALK UP the candidate and GET OUT TO DO YOUR PART.

HOPE IS ON THE WAY!

2. I've been trying to tell people that
But it's like some folks are reacting to news from last week.

His speech today on foreign policy kicked ten different kinds of ass.

Gads, I haven't felt this way since I was a Clarkie supporter and heard my man say almost exactly what I'd been thinking.

Damn, for Kerry to say directly that Bush is using national security for political gain (which includes 9/11 in my eyes) was just beyond cool. Call him on his shit, man. Tell it.

If we go down at this point, we go down proud!

But we ain't going down, my friends. We shall prevail.

LANDSLIDE! Mark my words.

10. Damn, that is beautiful!
Thanks for sharing that.
The stealth strategy that bypasses the idiot brigade of cable "journalist-pundittoheads" is a brilliant maneuver that will surprise alot of self-appointed prophets come nov2.
Local news without paid shills doing the he said-she said thinktank crap. Gone.
nothing but local excitement. No spin.

Everytime a friend gets down, one of these pics lets them know there is something more happening under the radar.

I have to admit I was wrong in disparaging the amount of attention being focused. If it hadn't, then they wouldn't have exposed her frighteningly masochistic/ Munchhausen by proxy father

16. I agree! My wife was googling the Parlock angle while I posted this.
We progressive types can multitask.
Just not panic...

Parlock Syndrome- setting oneself up to look like a victim. Habitually.
Extreme forms may utilize loved ones to enhance the effect.

6. Ahem..CHIRP.
Kerry's campaign is still a disaster. The Bush bounce is gone, sure enough, but Kerry's made a huge blunder by letting CBS take a broadside from the press and namby-pamby right-wing bloggers. Even if the info in the papers is factually correct, that the papers are receiving such brutal treatment will ingraine in people's minds the idea that Bush skipped out on his Guard duty as just another kooky "liberal" plot. It's also managed to put the Iraq war completely on the back burner, something Kerry couldn't afford to have happen.

I'm sorry, but I'm not putting on a smiling face about this campaign just yet, even if the Shrub's poll numbers are floating back down to earth. It is damned hard to win against a Republican who can campaign on meaningless aphorisms, patriotic sloganeering and fear.

7. Oh yes, I agree: we're doomed, doomed - nay: DEAD
Terrible, all this.

And just look at that Gallup poll. And Kerry hasn't even called Bush -- literally and on camera! -- a scum sucking hooverbug with a little penis and a mother wearing army boots! Plus, not a damn word about his position on interstellar travel, not to mention his significant silence on the trampled rights of used car salespeople.

I am just SO disappointed and disheartened... Oh, and than that little crying girl story.

Terrible I tell you! I might as well support Bush, now that everything's lost!

;)

9. Kerry "LET" CBS take a broadside...?
I didn't know he had such power.

I don't put "smiling face" on it, just take some good with the bad, and keep our fellow marcher's spirits up for the last two months.
I hae seen some friends get down because of news spin, and try to dissolve that. Not to be unrealistic in any way. Just to strengthen and avoid fatigue.
I helps to find something positive to share with people, like that pic above. Friends I send these pics to have no other means of seeing the REALITY of them. (No internet and crappy TV news)
Calling the campaign a disaster is no help at all really.

I agree that it is "damned hard" to win against these psyops using bastards.
We gotta psyop 'em right back! A part of that is NOT demoralizing the base!!
Have you ever read a CIA how-to book on overthrowing countries? This is one of the classics and it IS being used on US as we speak, rest assured.

13. Mmmmhmmm, and we all know Kerry is in control of CBS.
What do you mean Kerry "let" anything happen to CBS? Last I checked, he wasn't a producer, board member, reporter or executive at CBS.

14. We should just put that national guard thing behind us.
Bush is so vunerable on Iraq, Heatlhcare, and the economy that we hurt ourselves by dominating coverage with that crap.

15. tell it to cable news and free republic. . .they are the ones who can't
let vietnam go. John Kerry is not talking about Vietnam, in case you haven't noticed.

OTOH, Dan Rather and CBS have the right to defend themselves and a right to put out the truth.
