Here are demographics for Pew Poll 46% Kerry 46% Bush
Says "Kerry support Rebounds"

Whites favor Bush 52-40 a six point gain for Kerry
Non-White 70-18 for Kerry a one point gain for Kerry
Black's favor Kerry 76-13 two point drop for Kerry (but will improve)

Under age 30 55-41 for Kerry (a 20-point jump for Kerry)
30-49 49-41 for Bush (+2 for Kerry)
50-64 50-45 for Bush (+1 for Kerry)
65+ 50-37 for Kerry (+13 jump for Kerry)

Kerry leads among the very youngest and the very olderst.

In the East Kerry leads 52-35
In the MW Bush is up 48-43
In the South Bush leads 52-40
In the West Kerry is up 51-43

Red states favor Bush 50-41
Blue States favor Kerry 53-36
Battleground states are divided 49-44 for Bush

Now how many polls in recent days have shown the race too close to call?

numbers! This is great news. Hmm - which state has a lot of 65+ folks? Can you say Florida? I knew you could. Actually Pennsylvania has a lot also.

Other polls have Kerry running even or better there.
