Coincidence - sure it is - Kerry speech = bye bye coverage
Edited on Thu Sep-16-04 02:58 PM by DancingBear
MSNBC - cuts away from Kerry just as he begins the meat of his speech.

CNN - has "transmission problems" just as Kerry begins to attack Bush policy in Iraq, only to return and cut him off again when he continued the attack.

They don't even try to hide it anymore.

Un-fucking-believeable.

Edit: isn't this the second time CNN has used this bullshit "transmission problems" ruse when a Dem candidate is/was making an important speech?

1. We could complain, with evidence of this continuing pattern, to the FCC.
I am sure Powell would jump right on it. {/sarcasm}

Time for more LTTE, subject: convenient technical difficulty patterns in the liberal media

2. Indeed, this has happened quite a few times.
We should keep an on-going thread on this to keep track and contract these b*stards.

3. If that is really going on (a conspiracy)
Then we're just plain f!cked. I mean it would take another 4 years or more for enough people to realize what was going on.

6. I suggest we complain...
...to FAIR.org or mediamatters.org. They're watching this kind of stuff. Let them know we're mad about this.

Also, complaints to CNN should be waged -- it may not help, but it won't hurt either.

8. Kerry was hitting home and applause was growing. Then boom, CNN cuts away.
If he was bombing and got booed would the transmission satellite be able to function properly?
