oh, that's right...we don't "govern" Iraq anymore:eyes:
So if we have turned Iraq over and it's "not ours anymore" to govern, then why would the US, Britian, and Allawi care so much about these so-called "negotiations." Talk about the queen of all "flip-flops" :eyes: This is obvious proof that we control Iraq just as much today as the day we invaded it. Allwai is just a pawn amongst bigger chess pieces.
Bottom line: we, they or whoever the hell it is, (so many to pass the buck these days) are "negotiating" because the last hostage is from the UK and Bush doesn't want to loose the poodle in his lap. But to hell with the American hostages--guess Bush just looks at them as collateral damage:mad:

British hostage in Iraq, Kenneth Bigley
The US and Iraqi authorities appeared to be at odds today over the fate of a jailed Iraqi woman, whose release has been demanded by the kidnappers of Briton Kenneth Bigley.
Iraqi judges this afternoon ordered the conditional release of Rihab Taha, one of the two female scientists held in US custody, despite American insistence that neither woman was about to be released.
Meanwhile, the family of US hostage Jack Hensley confirmed that a decapitated body handed over to the US embassy today was his, according to Associated Press.
The judges' decision to free Ms Taha could yet save the life of Mr Bigley, whose kidnappers are demanding freedom for both prisoners.
Kassim Daoud, Iraq's national security adviser, told a news conference that the release of one female and two other male prisoners would be conditional and would not happen for a few days. It was not immediately clear what conditions would be attached.
