McCain on Hardball - what a jerk - on Bush he
says he thinks people like Bush because Bush believes what he says.

uh - when you're delusional and you believe it, they usually take
you away in a white coat...and McCain thinks this is admirable?

1. Bag o Gas
Let's see if Mr. Campaign Finance Reform has anything to say about the Shrub campaign discovering that loophole allowing them to control GOP committee funds to use in their own TV campaign.

3. Any respect I had for McCain evaporated when he attacked M. Moore
at the GOP convention and then had to admit he'd never even seen F 9/11.

5. I saw some of that, i've sworn off cable news
but tonight my daughters having a tubby so i've got to sit and wait to comb out her butt length hair so i turn on the idiot box and there he is. He has changed his tone big time. A month or so ago he was at least civil even nice about Kerry, not anymore. He's must be trying out for secretary of defense for bushwa.

7. There are people who like him for just that reason.
These are the same people who buy $1000 encyclopedia sets, $2000 vacuum cleaners and $1200 cookware sets from salesmen who 'believe what they say.'

8. That's what people say to be polite to those who've seen UFOs
. . . or ghosts or little green men.

"Ol' Ed is always talking about how he was abducted and anally probed by lizard people from Venus. I'll say this. HE believes what he says."

9. Poor McCain, He has lost all sense of self respect by supporting Bu$h, who
called his adopted Indian child, an illegitimate black child, and he who said McCain's wife was a drug dealer, and the McCain himself gave secrets to the Viet Cong.

11. Whiffle Ball as Bernie Ward calls it
Why I listen to Tweety turd anymore is my own psychological hangup. I must be really insane. If he sucked up any harder to McCain tonight, Matthews would have been wearing his underwear on his head. In another outrageous statement regarding the upcoming debates, Matthews compared Edwards to a snake (actually a cobra), with Cheney as the Mongoose. He says the Mongoose always wins. Calling Edwards a snake. What journalism. What insight.

14. What an outrage!
McCain is treated with such deference and respect as though he is the last voice of reason in this bitter partisan atmosphere. Then he's allowed to campaign unchallenged for Bush for nearly 30 minutes while he carefully and calmly lays the foundation that Kerry is a candidate who doesn't have the "stuff" our country needs right now. All done, of course with such care and concern and earnestness. Who wouldn't trust this man who only wants what's best for us?

Now imagine Tweetie giving the chair to say, Teddy Kennedy or Bob Byrd for that length of time, letting them "sell" the Kerry product as the price of our safety and security.

I just can't believe what a load of bullshit that was just spoonfed to the audience - using McCain's reputation for honesty and candor to make it all go down so much easier.

I'm pissed off enough to go out to the garage and smoke a whole pack of butts - one after the other!

21. Exactly. It was one huge political ad for Bu$h
McCain was able to say anything he wanted about Kerry and ChimpNuts and Tweetus let it go unchallenged. I detest Tweetus and McCain isn't far behind. Both are brutally dishonest and a total Bu$h suckups. I believe both were feathering the other guy's woody last night.

16. Republicans look like wounded dogs?
Has anyone noticed every Republican who says he isn't voting for Bush or disagrees with Bush looks like a wounded dog? Their pride keeps them from admitting the truth or is it they are scared the neo-cons will turn on them? I have a feeling a lot of the republicans who say they are voting for Bush aren't going to vote for him. They just can't admit it even know they want to.
