2. Great
I love showing Bush looking like a fool. And then Kerry sounds so calm and competent.

3. stay the course?
the "spin" is bush* is resolute and steadfast - that he will stay on this road...

what if it's the WRONG ROAD? At what point does being resolute and steadfast become stupidity and stubborness? Whatever point it is -- bush* has long passed it into stupid-land

13. That's a great ad right there: Bush the clueless driver, stops to
check a sign with Wrong Way - Right Way arrows. Goes "hmmmm, gotta go with the W" and goes down the wrong way, then sees some internationals standing by the road, and asks which way is right, and they point, and he ignores them, then overhead view showing how he's driving over a cliff, turns to back to see "baby America" strapped into car seat. "daddy knows where he's going..."

Well, ok, kindof hard to do, but your idea is right -- steadfast and resolute CAN CERTAINLY lead to trouble if YOU ARE ON THE WRONG PATH.

6. Phonebank volunteers at all levels all races should add that message
into their calls today.

"Democrats will put America on the right track. Democrats have a plan for Iraq."

12. Wow, that's awesome, EXCEPT, one suggestion:
It moves too fast, too much info, too much for average person to understand.

I would play chimp's quote twice (after first time, have "what????" on black screen, and then a rewinding sound and show again) so people hear how bad it is, then I would shorten Kerry's response to simply the later part, where Kerry has new ideas for Iraq (no need for all the details).

That's about 70% right, though, and I'm impressed it is so quick!

14. What exactly
did Bush mean? That more Iraqis believe that Iraq is on the right track than the number of Americans who believe that America is on the right track? Even if there was a poll to that effect... doesn't reflect too well on the job he is doing here at home, does it?

Please someone tell me what you think he meant. He is so well-spoken sometimes that it just goes over my head. :puke:

I like the Kerry ad.

15. Maybe he should run for President of Iraq,
since his policies seem so much more popular there than here.

16. That really is a kickass ad
Clearly shows Bush lack of reality on Iraq. Jon Stewart made a great joke yesterday. "Today George Bush gave a press conference at the Rose Garden, which is the same colored glasses he has chosen to view Iraq through.":D

Edited on Fri Sep-24-04 04:13 PM by brickgate
Who is dumb?

Bush: Yes, I drove us into a brick wall. But I didn't blink!

Clear picture: Yes and we follow!

clear picture indeed!

22. Kerry needs to follow-up in the debates
by explaining how he will get foreign leaders to support him -- in a sound bite.

I've read Kerry's plan, have lived overseas for many years and am persuaded Kerry can get support from all over the world. But, he has to soundbite it.

Edited on Fri Sep-24-04 08:46 PM by Onlooker
They should have interpreted Bush's right-track/wrong-track line to mean, "Iraq is doing even better than America." It was as if Bush admits that the United States under his leadership is not doing well.

it.

It is time that every lie and every blunder of the Bush Administration is addressed for the public. From failing to do the slightest thing before 9/11 to the present NIE "guess" about Iraq.
