2004 VOTE - Peter Hart Focus Group
Edited on Sat Sep-25-04 09:03 AM by Paradise
http://c-span.org/

"From Wednesday evening, pollster Peter Hart conducts a focus group with a group of voters ("soft" Kerry and "soft" Bush supporters) from the Kansas City, Missouri area. They discuss the 2004 presidential campaign and what voters want to hear from John Kerry and George Bush in the upcoming presidential debates." *(The one I saw was on last night, and I didn't see "soft".)

When the focus group began, and somewhat throughout,
it was evident, to me, that almost no one was satisfied with the way things were going,
HOWEVER, and INCREDIBLY as it progressed, it was evident, to me, that the majority of the voting sentiment was with *!

Please know, I do not mean to emote negativism but, rather,
if you wish to get a stark idea of who's "out there" and what we're up against,
you may want to watch it, and you may agree or arrive at a different opinion.
I'd love to be mistaken.

*Edit to add: (The one I saw was on last night, and I didn't see "soft".)

3. The "new" campaign has only just begun

It's only a few days ago that Kerry started expressing in a more pointed way his stands on different issues. I think if he sticks with his current approach, people will see him as a clear alternative to Bush and then many of those swing voters will vote for him.

4. Yes! I agree with Senator Biden when he said to Kerry:
"You've found your voice!" Thanks.

5. I couldn't even watch it - those people seemed so ignorant
when asked if Kerry is elected what should be the first thing he does (or something to that effect) and one man said "Re-marry" and the rest of the group laughed.

:grr:
