Is this correct?? James Baker, long-time adviser to the Bush mafia, and
the person currently preparing(tutoring)Dumbya for the upcoming debates, is defending the Saudis AGAINST a class-action suit by 9/11 families?? OMG,the hypocrisy! If this is true, why is the media not all over this?

1. Exactly Why?

Proves two things

Bush loves Saudis.

Bush loves trial lawyers.

9. I'm shocked that the same douchebag who has framed his entire
"presidency" by 9/11, would have someone who is helping to thwart the victims' families (against the Saudis, no less!)from receiving compensation from those who seemingly abetted the attacks, so blatantly intertwined with his administration. The irony! The hypocrisy!

12. It's been "known" ever since they filed against the Saudis.
But our crack media NEVER mentions it. All I ever hear is "James Baker, former Secretary of State and head of the Bush Florida recount committee."

I'm glad to see that you've been told the truth and are shocked by it.

5. It's correct. The reason why :
We have LOST the media as an independent source of journalistic integrity. Until we bring back the fairness doctrine, and repeal the law that allowed media consolidation , like Howard Dean mentioned, we are on our own people.

We have to win WITHOUT the media.

What a Kerry Administration would look like for the next 4 years. At every turn the media assholes will be spewing their filth.

I do not think the media is clued in to how badly they are now distrusted and despised.

I am not opposed to coverage of a partisan view if the other side has an opportunity to express their views.

6. AND...one of his partners in his law firm was the SEC person who
gave Bush a pass on Harkin in 1989; AND Baker was the one who showed up in Florida with the Gore v Bush mess.

I don't believe these people can ever represent themselves as the bi-partisan voice of reason anymore:

Jim Baker
Ted Olson
Bob Dole

They're as tarnished as Kissinger. No one will ever believe they represent objectivity and if they show up if another tight race, the only conclusion we can reach is that the fix is in.
