New Bush ad uses Mohammed Atta, Osama, 9/11 images
Vice presidential candidate John Edwards chose a sparsely attended church service in Detroit to deliver a blistering attack against the Bush-Cheney campaign for an ad that began airing this weekend.

The ad, paid for by the Progress for America Voter Fund, has aired in the key battleground states of Iowa and Wisconsin. It shows images of Osama bin Laden, Mohammed Atta, one of the Sept. 11 hijackers, and former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and asks, "Would you trust Kerry against the fanatic killers?" Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., heads the ticket.

Edwards, the senator from North Carolina, fought back Sunday morning.

"They are trying to exploit one of our greatest tragedies for personal gain," he said. "Sometimes during a campaign, it's important for us to speak out against immoral and unjust forces."

And while the pews may have been half-empty, the listening audience was likely far larger. The service at New St. Paul Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Detroit was carried on the Internet.

fire off an e-mail to Progress (hah!) for America Voter Fund and tell them Yes! we trust John Kerry. He would go after bin Laden and not put him on ignore.

Here's the site not to be confused with American Progress which is a liberal group.

3. Bush has close ties to Bin laden
Edited on Mon Sep-27-04 03:21 PM by Rambis
Many of the same American corporate executives who have reaped millions of dollars from arms and oil deals with the Saudi monarchy have served or currently serve at the highest levels of U.S. government, public records show.

Those lucrative financial relationships call into question the ability of America's political elite to make tough foreign policy decisions about the kingdom that produced Osama bin Laden and is perhaps the biggest incubator for anti-Western Islamic terrorists.
