Just watch - Bush will be praised for breaking the debate rules he
demanded.

Kerry will follow the rules. Bush will be the first to break the rules.

The "liberal media", prodded with a pointed stick by Faux, will be touting the "courage of George W. Bush to break from the format and push his message . . ."

1. No, He Will Chide Kerry for it and Back Out of the Rest of the Debates
saying Kerry broke the rules in the first one and therefore he's not going to debate again w/ someone who doesn't follow the rules.

2. if Bush breaks the rules then Kerry should "defend" him on it
if bush breaks a rule and is called on it, then kerry should "defend" him on it by saying to the moderator something like "you know what, i think we can ignore some of the rules to continue on a debate the american people deserve". not exactly that, but my point is he could turn it into an advantage for himself which would allow him to be less restricted. and since bush broke the rules first it couldn't be used against him.

3. yes!
it might also confuse Bush as to how to respond. Does he disagree with Kerry and demand they stick to the rules, even though he just broke them? Does he slip up and say the rules don't apply to himself?
