It's still the economy.!!!
The news media claims that the most important issue to voters is the war in Iraq but Kerry should not discount the importance of the economy. The high school in which I work has a sheriff deputy located there. He is pretty much a republican to the point that I really haven't said much to him about the election because I just knew he would vote for Bush. He said he even has a Bush yard sign at home that his mother-in-law gave him. He has not displayed it and in fact has not decided to vote for Bush yet. He says his #1 issue is the economy. He likes Bush for much of what he has done but really thinks Bush has failed on the economy. Anyway, I then saw an opening and began talking up Kerry and will give his some reading material tomorrow. I may be able to change him and his wife's opinion if I make the case.

The economy is still important!!
