223 librarians contribute to Kerry for every 1 contributing to *
New Library Journal just arrived and includes this tidbit from Political MoneyLine, via NYT columnist David Brooks. Academics favor Kerry with their contributions 11 to 1; CEO's favor * 5-1. I've never been prouder of my profession. Wonder if Brooks made some smarmy comment about us.

wannabe academic who couldn't make the cut, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he'd make some smarmy comments. Speaking of cuts, he and George Will are cut from the same cloth. Wannabes who dress the part, but can't play it.
