Saw that on a CNN Headline News ticker. Therefore, I think all the discussions we have been having here about "how is Kerry going to survive with all the rules" or "what he has to do or say" actually come down to one thing: I think Kerry intends to look in the camera and take the opportunity to outline how Bush failed and what his plans are, period; and to totally ignore the garden gnome standing next to him. He will flip him off like a fly that landed on his podium. The gnome will be speaking in soundbites. Kerry will address the nation, concisely and forcefully.

1. I'm sure neither candidate will use soundbites, but...
both will try for the PRIZE memorable quip!

You know what I mean, the "You're no Jack Kennedy", and "are you better off today than 4 years ago".

Guest on cspan this morning was asked if those memorable quips were just lucky. He smiled, and said NO. Each side has several, and they try to fit them into the debate questions/comments.
