Clark comment on religion and Kosovo.

These are both bombshell comments. The first...

Clark said that we (democrats) practice our religion, republicans preach it.

Here is the bigger one...

Kosovo should have independence. That's huge. When we fought for Kosovo we said we were against independence. That was the Clinton admin policy. If we didn't say that, there would not have been any negotiations using NATO. If you don't know how big this is, believe me it is.

The very next paragraph in your article includes this:

"The KLA's ambivalence toward pursuing its former dream of a Greater Albania has been tempered by the experiences of some 500,000 Kosovo Albanians deported by Serbian forces to Albania over the past three months. Many Kosovo Albanian deportees -- even those who fled massacres and burning villages in Kosovo -- were clearly shocked at the poverty, lawlessness and backwardness of Albania, and it apparently made some of them less optimistic about the prospect of a Greater Albania."

Sounds to me like Greater Albania looked good on paper, but was abandoned by the addition of real-world experience.

After all the KLA has been killing Albanians that don't agree with them for years...

That doesn't mean, however, that the KLA itself (as well as their supporter, Clark) have given up on the dream. The part I quoted makes this clear. They know that they are unlikely to be able to do it now, but just wait until they've had enough time to "convince" the rest of the Kosovo Albanian community.

I can assure you, within the decade every Albanian in Kosovo will "agree" or they will be dead. And with help from people like Clark, it might even be sooner.

Of course is it any suprise that Clark supports Sharon too?

The extreme north of the province probably should revert to Serbia; the population there is almost exclusively Serb, and has been so for a very long time. But the great bulk of the province is inhabited by Albanians, has been for centuries, and the bad blood of the twentieth century, of which the recent efforts by Butcher Slobo are a mere chapter, has made it impossible for them to accept Serb rule any longer.

Whether a "Greater Albania" is formed by a coalescing of Kossovo with Albania proper is not a matter of any great concern. There is little support for it among the people of the province, and Albania would receive the greatest benefit from it. An attempt to expand this into border districts of the current Macedonia would need preventing, as it could introduce an uneccessary instability into the region. Greece already casts covetous eyes on Macedonia, and it is from that direction the principal danger to that statelet comes.

That kind of practicing of religon?
