FREEPERS CRYING, DEPRESSED...IMPLOSION IMMINENT

It's really painful listening to Bush. Kerry has had him on the defensive from the beginning. Kerry sounds confident while Bush has a pleading defensive tone. Not good so far.

W is losing it- yikes he needs to get control. I think he is losing big time.

You're right. I don't remember him being like this in the debates with Gore, at all.

33. To be honest, this is what I was expecting in 2000
I never understood how Gore did not utterly wipe the floor with the Smirk last time around. I know he "won" (even if the pundittoheads were bought off a few days later to suddenly talk about how Bush won), but I expected Gore to win by such a large margin that no amount of spin would avail Bush.

38. Sorry to disagree
I voted for Gore, of course. However, I try to be objective about some things. I thought Gore got his ass kicked. Remember that style COUNTS in this stuff, like it or not. Kerry learned that lesson well. That's why he is doing well tonight.

W is reallyl on the defense. I'm now listening via net versus watching, and W sounds better. Bush's body language seems distracting. Kerry sounds authoritative. W. isn't hitting Kerry's weak poionts like he could. And W. has failed to point out how K has lied, not voted for funding, etc.

W can pull this out, but I am afraid that the first few minutes is what people will judge him on then turn the channel.
