Wasn't this supposed to be Bush's topic too?
I mean, isn't he the one supposed to be knowledgeable about foreign policy? His ONLY point is that supposedly he is the "war president". If he's lost the debate on foreign diplomacy, what now?

1. YES! Their strategy was that this would be a home run for the Prez...
...putting him in the lead through the election. The election was supposed to be over tonight. That was their miserable plan.

2. The "home game"
This is how some were spinning it earlier. Shrubya should've won in a blow out by conventional wisdom. Here comes the spin......."Bush holds his own" "No clear winner" blah, blah, blah.

3. What happens now?

Bush gets buttfucked on domestic policy. This was supposed to be his forte', foreign policy. He's just shot his wad, and it wasn't very large, or strong.

What people are seeing is that Bush was never very strong on foreign policy. That should have been obvious in the last election, but the press obscured his ignorance. Now, after four years on the job, he still got his ass handed to him on a platter.

I can't wait for the next one. :)

6. And this is predicted to be the most watched of the debates
And Kerry hit a home run tonight.

The meme was that tonight's topic is Bush's strength. He so obviously blew it.

I hate to say this, but Bush tonight reminded me of the sighing Al Gore from the 2000 debates (but without the substance). Bush just came across as so ill prepared and nervous.
