Sad to watch a man...
Discard his principles and his self-esteem.

But not that sad.

of the little he had left with me.

Another worthless hack working for the Dark Side.

6. I wonder what kind of dirt do they have on McCain
We should start questioning if McCain was in a tiger cage or was it a prop to make him look like he was so that he could run for the Presidency later on in life.

I hate McCain.

7. I dunno, he sounded pretty equivocal
McCain pissed me off at times, but he genuinely seemed to know that Bush had lost. He prefaced his remarks with a "I think it was a good debate" and went on for a while on that before finally giving Bush some lukewarm praise and Kerry some faint damnation. I think he's just trying to be a loyal party hack - he knows Bush lost.

8. He and Giuliani lost all credibility with me tonight.
They admitted no weakness when Bush paused, said uhhhh, mixed up Saddam/Osama, talked about loving that woman, etc. etc. etc.

Even Bush's own nephew (George P.) wouldn't say that Bush won. But these two asshats are so blinded by self-interest that they defend the indefensible. Disgusting, sad, but also frightening.

9. Little sheep.
I'll repeat what I've said before: I respect many parts of Mr. McCain's life. But it will, always, ALWAYS be overshadowed by that fact that * made a blatant attack on McCain's CHILD, yet he still supports *. I can't get over that.

11. He's waiting 4 2008
so he is whoring himself out to bush to build some momentum and he probably feels that he can turn some dems over at the same time.

DEMocrats don't fall for it in 2008! Like my grandmother use to say, just because someone say that he is your friend does not mean that he is your friend!

Don't forget how Republicans treat their own. They won't nominate McCain--he's too damn decent to win at their savage bloodsports

in the U.S.? He sucks up daily. He has lost all credibility. And he's been on the receiving end of Rove's nasty tactics.

If he had any kind of morality he would not be working for Shrub. I can see sticking to the party lines but working for the guy? Shame.

24. McCain is playing a dangerous game
All year, he's trying to give props to Kerry while not actually doing anything that would weaken his standing in his own party.

In reality, though, McCain would really be better off switching horses, because if Bush wins again, there's a 100% chance he's going to make McCain eat the peanuts out of his shit, while there's a somewhat lesser chance that Kerry would (I know that if I were Kerry, and my friend John McCain were unwilling to publically support the person he knew to be the stronger candidate, I would treat him as if he'd disappeared on a expedition to the Antarctic).
