My favorite *Bushisms* from the debate
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 12:35 PM by Beaverhausen
1. His mispronunciation of Mullahs as "Moo-lahs," which he repeated about 3 times. 2. The Korean "Penin-schula" 3. "How can he be the leader of the WORLD?" The world? whatever! What were yours?

If "vladermer" is fersifrous. the "moolahs" are definitely fersifrous. the north koreans might go "nuculerly" fersifrous on us too. that is, if we don't stop the fersifrous perliferations before someone tranships them like freedom from the mighty mountain to the valley of peace below.

i wonder whose idea it was to throw that word in there. then again, perhaps he meant to say something else.

My husband asked me what stupid thing I thought Chimp would say. I said, "It's hard work." So he kept a running tally with pen & paper. The first one came about 3 minutes in. He said "Hard work" FIFTEEN times! As if he'd done any ion his life.

5. Looking down from the valley....whatever!
little bush reads the bible all day and can't quote directly from it. And we prayed....in reference to the Mom whose son was killed in Iraq. Not even the 60 million bush kkkristians praying saved his ass last night. An that big word, fus...totally out of character for Mr. Simpleton. He was really aware that Kerry's vocabulary makes Yale proud.

6. "It's hard work." "It's hard work." "It's hard work." "It's hard work."
"It's hard work." "It's hard work." "It's hard work." "It's hard work." "It's hard work." "It's hard work." "It's hard work." There, I said it **eleven** times, just like Georgie. but let me top him: "It's hard work." :bounce:

8. The one about loving the widow
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 12:49 PM by alarcoeg
it just sounds strange, especially when you remember Bush's line about ob-gyn's showing their love for their patients. and the one about keeping his daughters on a leash. on edit: I hope Olbermann has some good clean fun with these lines! B-)

13. "Moolahs" had me LMAO ....
but I also had to laugh when he called the Middle East a "neighborhood" Bush quote: "And there‘s going to be an Arab summit, of the neighborhood countries." It may not be a huge one, but it just sounded so silly. Maybe they can make a movie called "Moolahs in the 'hood"

14. "It was not my administration that put the sanctions on Iran."
"That happened long before I arrived in Washington, D.C." Just before that he said:"Secondly, he said -- my opponent said where he worked to put sanctions on Iran -- we've already sanctioned Iran. We can't sanction them any more. There are sanctions in place on Iran." Talk about flip-flops. He doesn't even know what he has said from one minute to the next. Jay

17. "No one told me to go to the UN"
and something about "We thought they'd stick around to fight, but they didn't, so we're fighting them now" Think about just how stupid that last one is.
