Re-watched the debate today: Kerry looked like a caged tiger.

He kept shifting his weight as if he couldn't wait to pounce. I don't know how he managed to keep his composure with all of that stored energy.

Last night Bush's facial contortions were a real distraction, so I hadn't noticed. Bush really did look like an annoyed first grader.

Ultimately, I think, Bush underestimated Kerry. It's clear that Kerry respects Bush's points of view and respects him as an opponent. Bush seems to have arrogantly dismissed Kerry, as if he really believes all of his sleazy attack ads as well as his own hype.

confident, calm, and a true veteran statesman. he had it completely under control. knew exactly when he had bush on the ropes and knew when he should let bush hang himself.

5. Kerry sounds like Bill Clinton who has said our side and their side

have two very different ways of solving the problems that face us. And they believe to the depth of their souls that their way is right. Our job is to convince voters that our solutions are the way to go.
