The American Worker Fantasy Ticket?
Edited on Sat Jan-10-04 03:07 PM by WhoCountsTheVotes
Here's mine:

President: Richard Gephardt
Vice-President: Dennis Kucinich
Department of Justice/Attorney General: John Edwards
Special Corporate Crime Prosector: Eliot Spitzer
Agriculture: Jesse Jackson Jr.
Commerce: Harold Ford
HHS: Howard Dean
Defence Secretary: Wesley Clark
Labor: Barbara Lee
Veterans: John Kerry

And for the new cabinet level department, the Secretary of Beating Down Corporate Media Whores on Live Television: The Reverend Al Sharpton. :bounce:

Edited: I had to get Spitzer in here somehow.

1. Looks good
but the attorney general heads the justice department, so Spitzer and Edwards will have to share an office . . .

2. Some excellent choices but...
...the Attorney General is the head of the Dept. of Justice. Either Edwards or Spitzer would be a good choice for that post, though.

4. oops
okay, I fixed it. We would need someone entirely focused on crime, so I made a new office for Spitzer. :)

3. Interesting. I like the ticket, but I think it might be too late fot it.
I've not seen any sign that Gephardt wishes to work with Kucinich. Gephardt has also turned off a lot of people with the osama advertisement. I don't see him getting the nomination. He might win Iowa, but he'd need more than that.

5. Not a big Gephardt Fan
I like some of his domestic policies, but his website is pretty terrible and scant when it comes to Security or Defense. Whoever we get has to make a pretty good argument on these issues. Clark is the best, but Dean, Edwards, Kerry, and even Lieberman and Kucinich make pretty good cases (not that I buy all their arguments (which in the case of Lieberman and Kucinich would be impossible (mutually condrictory). Gephard, in my mind, doesn't have as nearly solid an answer on defense and security as he needs.

Plus I think he's really mad that other democrats have decided to run for president at the same time as him.
