Edwards won. His presentation was better, he sounded much more trustworthy and he seemed to have faith in his and Kerry's abilities to get America out of the mess it's in.

The mediawhores are calling it for Cheney, but the only balanced scientific poll of the night is calling it for Edwards 41-29 from CBS. It would be a tremendous stretch for me to call this even a draw.

3. And funny thing is

Matthews response tonight is what he should have given Kerry last week. Instead, in the face of a sound thrashing Kerry gave to Dimson, Matthews kept the waters muddied, his media whores on hire analyzed "whether or not" Kerry would make up any ground followed by the laundry list of Repuke pundits and then of course, "we really won't know who will win the debate for 48 hours."

Fast forward to tonight. A fairly lame debate, short on many quality issues that we needed to have addressed. Probably a debate that at best is a draw. Cheney lied for 90 solid minutes, but was confident and coherent.

Reponse to that? Matthews calling it an ambush. Cheney trounces Edwards.

Anyone watching the last two debates and then the subsequent spin by Matthes will know he and his cohorts on that show are simple whores.

2. The they need to go through the DU list of sites to poll and look at the
results. Cheney lost by a landslide, and I do mean landslide) on almost all of them.

I've been hitting the polls since 10:00 p.m., and I know from what I've seen that the American people think Edwards won, was more credible, had a better grasp of the facts, and is more trustworthy.

Edwards kicked major ass tonight, and there's nothing that anyone can say or do to change that fact.

4. Of course, you're right,
Edwards got it on substance and style. Cheney's lies are getting old, and even his authoritative drone can't hide the bullshit.
