Cheney's Lie & Axing Iraq from 9-11 & "War on Terror"

If this is one of the most important goals of the
campaign from here on out--especially separating
Iraq & 9/11--then Cheney's lie is just priceless.
He said he did not even "suggest" the Iraq/9-11
connection. In fact, the point is not so much that
he lied, but that he is saying that there is no
connection, in fact, that there is not even a
*suggestion* of such a connection. K&E have to make
this central, especially in the 2nd Pres debate.

Make a commercial just of the clips followed by the clip of the debate stamp over Flip-Flop

... Anybody see what I'm saying? The lie is not as
important as what he's actually SAYING NOW--that he
has not even SUGGESTED that there was a connection
between Saddam & 9/11.

In the Gallup poll, 62% of Repubes, 33% of Dems &
25% of Independents believe there WAS such a connection
& Bush benefits from that connection in polls on
terrorism/Iraq. The more Saddam is separated from 9/11
the more it hurts Bush & helps Kerry, because it
makes the disaster of Iraq a disaster distinct
from whatever the hell the "war on "terror" really is....

So, catching Cheney in a lie (!) is nowhere near as
important as forcing him to say that he did not ever
even SUGGEST a Saddam connection to 9/11.....
